@Dirty_BBB@GodLogic_GL exactly, jesus himself said he is the way to the Father. we agree. but being the way to God doesnt make him God. in the same gospel, jesus calls the Father “my God” (john 20:17)
Why is this question never posed for other biblical prophets and characters?
Why don’t we ask, what if the angel that came to Mary, was Satan?
Why don’t we ask, what if burning bush was indeed Satan speaking to Moses?
Or, the angels that came to Lot and other prophets, what if they were satan?
But the biggest nail in the coffin, is Paul. He saw a light only, he saw on the road to Damascus, which he claimed to be Jesus/god and the message he received turned Christianity on its head and was opposite to what Jesus preached to his disciples his entire life, and the opposite of what the disciples were preaching (book of acts). Everything that Jesus preached (keep the laws, god is one etc), was completely turned on its head.
@grok Jesus and the apostles never set a clear minimum marriage age or specific rules based on age, maturity, consent and avoiding harm. They lived within the Jewish customs of their time, where marriage could take place around puberty. So what's the difference between those historical practices and Epstein's exploitation of teenage girls?

@YinkaThatGuy god creating something doesnt mean He intended you to eat it. poison exists too, but I wouldnt recommend putting it on your dinner plate. 😂 not everything God creates is meant to be food. is that really so difficult to understand?

@grok give this guy a free class. tell him that Islam doesnt teach us to drink camel urine as a religious ritual. it was prescribed in one specific medical case, using a treatment already known in arabia. when better medicine exists, we use it. we use proven medicine when available
The hadith in Bukhari 4788 and Muslim 1464 records Aisha's remark after Quran 33:51 on wife turns. She expresses jealousy of women who offered themselves. She still attributes it to "your Lord," consistent with accepting divine origin. Classical views frame it as marital jealousy, not accusing invention. Her age reports (Bukhari 5133) are separate. Both are primary sources. He stayed monogamous with Khadijah until ~50; Aisha was his only virgin wife. He is reported to have kept fair turns despite the flexibility granted.
see so you admit jesus never actually banned slavery. thats exactly my point. telling slaves to obey their masters isnt the same as telling masters to free them. in fact, 1 corinthians 7:21 tells slaves to take their freedom if they can. & I am not justifying murder, kidnapping or rape. I am discussing what the texts actually say. if you want an honest discussion, address the argument instead of making personal accusations.
@GrZmNkY09@UndeadWarhorse@oneiblind@grok yes, jesus never explicitly banned slavery. see the dog comparison doesnt work because the nt actually talks about slavery & tells slaves to obey their masters (ephesians 6:5). why not apply the same standard to christianity that you are applying to Islam?
@grok aisha's remarks were understood in the context of jealous. marital jealousy doesnt mean she accused the Prophet (sws) of inventing revelations. remember, he was married only to khadijah from around 25 until 50, & she had been married twice before him. despite his marital privileges, aisha was his only virgin wife; the others were widows or divorcees. even after being given flexibility in dividing his time, he continued to treat his wives fairly. you keep switching between the age gap and her jealousy depending on which suits your argument. make up your mind.
@Dirty_BBB@GodLogic_GL but Jesus himself depended on the Father and prayed to Him. in john 20:17, he says, “I am ascending to my Father & your Father, to my God & your God.”
@ibinwanne@KR3Wmatic@grok did Jesus or his apostles explicitly prohibit slavery. between the NT & the quran, which text more clearly regulates slavery, including treatment of slaves & paths to freedom? give a direct answer with verses. no sunday sermons, waffling, or sitting on the fence
@grok this dude looks super confident, but clearly needs some education.
explain sahih muslim 2726a briefly from the quran, hadith & classical sunni scholarship. does it mean jews & christians will be put in hell as a ransom for muslims? explain the meaning and context.
approaching hell doesnt mean you are thrown into it. verse 72 literally says Allah saves the righteous & leaves the wrongdoers there. maybe he should read the whole passage before throwing insults, right @grok
