@0zArKOG@fuserleer I kind of hope someone with recognised backing can buyout his share. Someone who understands the legacy but has the support to follow through the development. Huge opportunity considering the current token price
The hyperscale test is currently measured in complex swaps rather than the industry standard ‘tps’. Why not just follow the going norm and blow them out of the water, rather than trying to drive change in a metric. Comes across a little ‘holier than thou’ @fuserleer@radixdlt
@beemdvp Sometimes the market takes some time to react to new products, not recognising the innovation means there’s no demand. Unfortunately with this view, radix is building what they deem to be correct and staying course on this mentality. This will keep burning the community
@beemdvp I don’t think both trains of thought are mutually exclusive. You can start with the first, but if the market has demands at some point you also need to cater to them.
@beemdvp No mans sky was a game that underdelivered on release, but consistently produce frequent updates that built on the foundation, making it a complete product. Radix needs to do the same, with more consistency and be able to meet deadlines.
@fuserleer And here was me hoping haha. 100% agree though, TPS is not the hype it once used to be. Maybe in the next couple of years it’ll bounce back and be the hot topic again, in which case radix will be prime to swoop in
@Shimmersoft I don’t think for most men it’s enough to just be marriage material. I want to be in a relationship where I satisfy everything for my partner, not that they’re ‘settling’. This statement could mean so many different negative things I don’t blame him for being upset.
@CheerUpHumanity @OnurCan7883 @binance@coinbase I would’ve said the same thing in 2021, yet here we are. I’m really hoping to see it happen before 2030
@0zArKOG I was hoping Dan performing his official test to demonstrate TPS and beating records might offer some hype in the community, but that hasn’t happened (touted to happen in January), so just more delays and speculation.
@0zArKOG Hype will only come by offering a unique selling point and something that end users can utilise NOW. AI as an example had 0 hype until chat gpt came about, and now it’s the next big thing (even though AI has existed long before ChatGPT) Radix needs this event.
@Christo99065743 @ShaiHolmgren @LyleRath@konstantinos96b That’s because the game mechanics weren’t designed for higher refresh rates. That doesn’t relate. Rd2 is capable of running at higher refresh rates because the pc port can. The only reason they lock is for stability, but they should give the choice to the player
