Hello everyone,

You may have been wondering about the break we previously announced, and we wanted to be transparent with you.

The first half of 2026 has been particularly challenging. Between organizing OPC, which required an enormous amount of time and energy, and Myriam's health gradually deteriorating, it has been a difficult period for all of us. With Myriam's surgery coming up soon, we made the difficult decision to take a break so that we could all step back, rest, and come back refreshed.

That break will still happen, it will simply be shorter than we originally planned. Over the past year, we have been working on an exciting opportunity for the PLL convention, and we have decided to move forward with it.

As a result, we will be active in 2027 with at least two projects: the FAWL convention and SLC3. Following the success of SLC2 and the overwhelmingly positive feedback from the cast, who truly loved the event, we simply couldn't pass up the opportunity to organize a third edition! We will be sharing more information with you very soon.

As for OPC2, its theme has been taken over by another organization, so it will not be organized by Empire Conventions.

Finally, regarding Book Lovers Con, it is a project that remains very close to our hearts. We are keeping it in mind, but it will not take place on the dates we had previously announced.

Vous vous posez des questions sur la pause que nous avions annoncée et nous souhaitions être transparentes avec vous.

Le premier semestre de 2026 a été particulièrement éprouvant entre l'organisation de la OPC qui nous a pris beaucoup d'énergie et la santé de Myriam qui se dégradait. Se faisant opérer bientôt, nous avions pris la décision difficile de faire une pause afin de nous permettre à toutes de prendre du recul et de revenir reposées. Cette pause aura bien lieu, elle sera juste plus courte que nous l'avions prévue.

En effet, nous avons eu une opportunité pour la convention PLL sur laquelle nous travaillons depuis plus d’un an et avons donc décidé de la saisir. Nous serons bien actives en 2027 avec au moins deux projets : la convention FAWL et la SLC3. Après le succès de la SLC2 et le fait que les acteurs aient adoré cet événement, nous ne pouvions pas ne pas faire de troisième édition ! Nous vous communiquerons toutes les informations très bientôt.

Quant à la OPC2, le thème va être repris par un autre organisme, elle ne sera donc pas organisée par Empire Conventions. Concernant enfin la Book Lovers, c'est un thème qui nous tient à cœur et que nous gardons en tête mais qui n'aura pas lieu aux dates annoncées précédemment.
