To those who are pleased HS2 has been cancelled in favour of improving local trains, I say the following… The ***ENTIRE POINT*** of HS2 was to free up space on the Victorian network ***SPECIFICALLY*** in order to improve local trains!!!

Midblock crosswalks are often overlooked or difficult to access, creating unpredictable situations for pedestrians and drivers.

By adding curb extensions, medians and vertical elements like signage, cities can make these crossings safer for everyone.

Solidarity w/ the Ontario education workers organizing for decent working conditions. Funds are always available for surveillance, jails, repression, while life affirming social needs are decimated. education is a social need and good and workers deserve our support right now.
