๐ซ๐ท๐ฃ๏ธ Raphael Varane on children heading the football... ๐ง โฝ๏ธ
"Their brain is in full development. So, inevitably, receiving impacts has negative consequences. Secondly, because it is easily avoidable. At 8 or 9 years old, there is no point in working on the heading game."
"So, you might as well preserve them, you might as well protect them. There is also now equipment: as tibia guards are widely used, even mandatory, there are also head protectors that can be used in children."
"So it doesn't prevent 100% of the risks, that's for sure. But there is now equipment or technological advances that can gradually help and protect the youngest."
"Today, and I knew it very well, among young people we teach the little ones to take the blows, to clench their teeth, not to have pain, to get up, which can also be a good thing. But regarding the heading game, I don't see a positive aspect to that."
"There is a difference between hurting yourself and hurting yourself, that is, gritting your teeth and continuing to move forward is one thing. Collecting blows to the head that will have repercussions and direct consequences on health is something else."
"Of course, we must keep the values of sport, but do it in a framed, controlled, controlled way. It is something that, for me, in fact, sounds obvious, that will change, but which is much too slow in implementation." (@RMCsport)
@gjengland Yes it is a fake. First time I've seen any design this year thats been made and sold (turkish market admittedly). Only time will tell if it's correct or not. For a 10er, why not!? And the hearts, i added, for the sites that have ripped off and and reused my photo without asking.
@NeilKReid It was, picture was taken by me today mate.....it's the first time I've seen one anyone's been confident enough to make into a shirt and fits with previous computer design leaks. Only time will tell if its right or not. ๐๐ป
