My gym has started using new software and accompanying app for memberships/classses/etc and I'm almost offended that companies can sell software with a UI/UX that bad.
@hcaz32000@Shopify I think same day uninstalls will unfortunately always relatively be high. A large number will be merchants simply blindly installing apps to see if it does what they need it do do and then uninstalling it.

A big group of executives in suits from the gym head office came in for a tour of the facilities and just stood there talking while looking at me.
So *hopefully* overtime when more users have used the new version and had it cached, this should calm down and come under the threshold.
However, we're not certain on this. So basically, we'll keep an eye on this and if it doesn't calm down then we'll dig deeper.
Our big Shopify app update involved moving most of the frontend over to React. Something we have noticed is that our LCP score has gone crazy. In fact it's outside of the "good" threshold. Why has this happened? What can we do?...
Well. We think it's because the initial dashboard page is now in React so requires the entire app JS file to download which is several MBs.
Once a merchant has done this once then it's cached and should be instant.
Seriously, if you're in D2C and preparing from BFCM, just listen to this episode of Limited Supply from @mrsharma and @moizali. It's all absolute gold.

Built for Shopify app update...
So they've come back with a relatively short and actionable list, which is great. But there's just one requirement which is just silly:
"There is anย App Store Requirementย that app names cannot be a generic description of your app's functionality."
Here's some example names of other apps that are certified built for shopify:
Checkout Blocks โ Upsells, etc (@gilgNYC ๐)
Bundler - Product Bundles
Essential Countdown Timer Bar
QR Code Generator Hub
Order Automator
Event Ticketing
Updates to our Shopify app have now been deployed and tested ๐
More functionality is coming soon.
Here it is on the app store:

Probably need to update the listing tbh. The imagary is looking especially rubbish.
@faridmovsumov Already tried that a few months back. Installs tanked. We've got some new functionality (and hopefully built for shopify status) coming soon so hopefully that will justify another increase.
