Our training assistant Sam Doyle has always struggled with his speech and confidence.
Sam overcame a stammer in his teens, but lost his voice again through the trauma of working for the NHS at the Manchester terror attacks.
He came to the club to try to regain his confidence and says being part of our squad has given him his voice back.
Sam shared a special moment with the team on Sunday.

We are delighted to announce Jamie Pye has signed a professional contract, which means he becomes a full-time member of Paul Rowley's first-grade squad for 2025! ๐ช
Thatโs brilliant by @SneydMarc . How can the ref tell if itโs a bad attempt at goal or genuine effort.
Surly thatโs just exploiting the rules to your advantage
Are you able to help find Salford fan, Callum?
Callum was last seen yesterday, on Sharp Street in Walkden, wearing all blue workwear.
If you are able to provide any information as to his whereabouts, please contact the police on 0161 856 7619 or 101 quoting log 2756.
This man never fails to amaze me.
First time I've ever had to deal with physios running on to feed a player after sunset during Ramadan in a defensive set whilst smashing people and fasting.
Fair play Nene. ๐
Was outstanding today....
Couldnโt agree more. Give the players a voice! Having been a part of the RLPA in Aus, and seen how beneficial it was to the playing group, itโs disappointing to see the lack of input us players get towards changes like these here in the UK.
