personally I believe nobody can be great without being a good person, and a fundamental characteristic of a good person is the ability to apologize when one does something wrong or simply makes a mistake. Just a thought.
The @SouthernVasc gavels are back on my shelf one last time.
Five years as Secretary-Treasurer has been a lot of work, but even more rewarding.
Our 50th Anniversary meeting was capped off by an outstanding presidential address from @MeganTracci, who passed the presidency to @markfarbermd
Grateful for this society and excited to keep serving as President-Elect this year.
@HawkeyeBJP the gavels are now yours to keep, Mr. Secretary-Treasurer! #SAVS2026
@crappiedoc@pgipe Yes — and that’s the concerning part. When systems ignore clinical context, they don’t reduce risk, they shift it to clinicians. How is that supposed to improve patient safety?
@omarkandah@DoctorZada Neurosurgeons work several times longer hours than general surgeons. When doctors in other departments finish their shifts, they may still be performing surgeries.
@InfantryPilot@Okinawadan For me, this is perfectly normal. In Korea, we experience several bouts of extreme cold every year, so I've long since gotten used to temperatures around 0 degrees Celsius.
@William_Simons3@p_ferragu Putting your own life first is what matters most; don't entrust your life to artificial intelligence for the sake of convenience.
@Readycya@flying_steve Wow, I never imagined you'd have an M8—this is absolutely thrilling! I've always followed BMW's M series, but the M8 feels a bit too extravagant for me. I might go for an M4 this year.
@flying_steve Following your heart's choice is wonderful. Though you might regret your actions for a moment, if you don't follow your own thoughts, you might regret it forever.
