Today’s broadcast is dedicated to a young lady that was a #KUCancerFighter for the last two years, courageously battling leukemia throughout her teen years before tragically passing away on Sunday at the age of 16.

Carlie Foutch was a Belleville, KS native that had recently been attending Shawnee Mission East between treatments. She loved family, playing basketball and watching her beloved Jayhawks any chance she got. During a recent hospital visit she told me Dajuan Harris was her favorite Jayhawk and she was sure hoping she could see him win a 2nd title.

Jayhawk Nation lost a special young lady this week, but gained an angel in the process. We celebrate Carlie’s life today & dedicate whatever March run awaits us, to her memory. 💙🙏❤️
