@ellymelly It's not more dangerous, it's actually considerably less dangerous... The reality is that crime has fallen considerably over the last 25 years.

I do think if you'd lived in Oz in the 90s you would have been too afraid to leave the house

@Joey1800callme @raglanbeaufort It is literally exactly the same today. As someone who actually has children at public school, nothing much has changed since I went to school 30 odd years ago. They still do all those things, they still sing the anthem at assemblies and they still acknowledge the other stuff
