@Remysgs Sometimes a spouse makes multiple reports to leave a stronger trail, so their (future) killer is more likely to be suspected/caught. If the victim can’t escape, he/she can at least make it less likely he’ll kill again.

@Remysgs They should be separated while each tells his/her side of what happened that she got that impression. Insist they spend the night in separate locations. (Maybe say the wife will spend the night in jail but actually take her to a friend or relatives, to avoid have 2 killed).

@ihteshamali My dad was a pilot for the Army, then AF (after it was formed). Once after takeoff, something was very wrong - at the last possible sec to recover, he realized he’d resumed the checklist at the wrong spot. (If interrupted during check, always supposed to start over to avoid that)
