@verdin_sge@fiago7 Having a bit of travelling under your belt has a minuscule effect on professional athletes. Altitude has a significant effect. Try again.
@ohgonogono@verdin_sge@fiago7 Maybe you should distinguish crying with my attempt at being objective. Idc if its normalised in south American football, from my perspective its ludicrous that this painfully average Mexico squad are going deep in a tournament because they have an explicit physical advantage
@joaodefender@fiago7 Other continents not complaining doesn’t effect my personal opinion, and its probably because its so normalised there. When you really deep it Mexicos opponents are in effect playing with 5kg dumbbells strapped to their legs.
@vida_hp1@fiago7 Many differences which i cba to explain but you should be able to work out. Ill leave you with a question tho.
Do you not think the biggest sporting competition in the world should be as fair as possible in terms of physical conditions?
@fiago7 If one team has such an insane biological advantage over 5 consecutive opponents the fairness of the sport is jeopardised. I don’t think you fully understand how much of a difference acclimatisation makes (certain studies say) . Fifa should have regulations on this.
@benjswfc@TomMcCarthy_@PiesCustar70419@philblanche Bale a bit ahead as it stands but Kane could overtake with a very strong end to his career. What Bale achieved with Wales is almost supernatural when you really look into it, and he was one of the best players of possibly the most stacked generation.
