I spoke with the one & only @Rob_D_Niro for @NYDailyNews, which seemed like the perfect excuse to reactivate this page and tell you to read it!

my top three of my birthday twin's greats (with a rotating door for #4)
-the wolf of wall street
-taxi driver
-(for millennial nostalgia purposes) shutter island
- & then, depending on the day, it's either the depahted/after hours/killers of the flower moon/king of comedy
only finishing all the nods for best pic, actor, supporting actor/actress, casting, cinematography, costume, directing, editing, score, production design, sound, screenplay (adapted, original) feels like having my 1168-day Duolingo streak & still only being fluent in english
I'm sorry but I cannot get over Scream 7 redoing the bedroom scene down to the song & mannerisms with ZERO sense of irony and, like, why are you trying to reenact your mom's makeout scenes, what?
New friends and I were at a party gushing about & quoting When Harry Met Sally for maybe 20 min before we learned the news about Rob Reiner & Michele Singer. A movie — like much of his filmography — that is such a bedrock of who so many are and what they love. I can’t believe it
I had the surreal privilege of interviewing Diane Keaton early in my career. That was hard enough to believe (I think I literally had to pinch myself after we hung up). I don't know how to wrap my head around her being gone. RIP to the one & only

We are deeply saddened by the loss of our founder and friend Robert Redford.
Bob’s vision of a space and a platform for independent voices launched a movement that, over four decades later, has inspired generations of artists and redefined cinema in the U.S. and around the world.
Beyond his enormous contributions to culture at large, we will miss his generosity, clarity of purpose, curiosity, rebellious spirit, and his love for the creative process.
We are humbled to be among the stewards of his remarkable legacy, which will continue to guide the Institute in perpetuity.
In Spike Lee’s new movie #Highest2Lowest, he could have picked any NY paper but he chose the @NYDailyNews. He’s recognizing our value – and we deserve living wages and a fair contract. Without us, there is no @NYDailyNews
