My son, a salary is a rented servant. It works for you today, but it answers to another man.
While it is still showing up to your house, do not get lazy. Put it to work. Use it to buy servants that belong to you.
When its master calls it home, you should be able to wave it goodbye, not beg it to stay.
Be blessed.
My son, a salary is a seed you harvest from another man’s farm.
It is foolish to eat all of it today, because tomorrow hunger will force you to walk back to his gate and beg for more.
Take a portion of that seed and plant it in your own soil.
Build your own harvest, so you never have to depend on another man to survive.
Be blessed.
A fortuitous Father’s Day in the Albertine Graben with my daughter @SamanthaBarung1
Happy Father’s Day to my fellow Ugandan fathers.
I wish you long life to see the fruits of your labour.

HOIMA: Hon. Sanjay Tanna, Minister of Trade, Industry and Cooperatives, today joined fellow Cabinet ministers on a visit to the East African Crude Oil Pipeline (EACOP) project in Hoima as part of the ongoing Cabinet Induction Retreat in Kyankwanzi.
The visit provided ministers with firsthand insight into Uganda's oil and gas developments as the country prepares for its much-anticipated first oil, a milestone expected to boost investment, industrialisation, job creation, and economic growth.
Cabinet Tours Strategic Oil and Gas Infrastructure Projects
As part of their induction retreat at the National Leadership Institute (NALI), Kyankwanzi, the newly appointed Cabinet, led by H.E. Rt. Hon. Major (Rtd) Jessica Alupo, Vice President of the Republic of Uganda, today undertook a tour of key oil and gas infrastructure projects in the Albertine Graben.
The day commenced with a visit to Hoima City Stadium, the 20,000-seat multi-purpose facility commissioned in December 2025 and set to host matches during the AFCON 2027 tournament.
The delegation later proceeded to the Kingfisher Development Area, where they were received by Mr. Liu Xiangdong, President of @CNOOCUgandaLtd, Mr. Ernest Rubondo, Executive Director @PAU_Uganda , and Ms. Irene Bateebe, Permanent Secretary at @MEMD_Uganda
Kingfisher is one of Uganda’s two upstream oil and gas development projects and is expected to produce up to 40,000 barrels of oil per day at peak production.
At Well Pad 2, Cabinet members were briefed on ongoing preparations to ready the wells for production. The delegation was informed that 8 of the 22 drilled wells have already been completed and are ready for production.
The team also toured the Central Processing Facility (CPF), where they received an overview of the crude oil processing chain before export through the Kingfisher feeder pipeline into the East African Crude Oil Pipeline (@EACOP_ ).
In her remarks, H.E. Rt. Hon. Major (Rtd) Jessica Alupo reaffirmed Government’s commitment to supporting the successful implementation of Uganda’s oil and gas projects by ensuring a conducive environment for both construction and future production activities.
From Kingfisher, the delegation proceeded to @EACOP_ Pump Station 1, the starting point of the 1,443-kilometre pipeline that will transport Uganda’s crude oil to the export terminal at Tanga on the Indian Ocean coast in Tanzania.
The tour concluded with a visit to Kabalega International Airport, a critical piece of infrastructure supporting Uganda’s oil and gas developments and regional connectivity.

Prof @ReachDrMuganga breaks down from his late parents graves , because he has to explain to the his fellow countrymen that image is one of them really must we reach this extent
Uncle @Thomas_Tayebwa Ofaaki nensi
The good VC @ReachDrMuganga proves his detractors, doubters and haters RIGHT, by boasting about recording the proceedings of the @Parliament_Ug vetting committee. In this ill-thought rant, he has confirmed why - if approved - he would have been the WRONG man for the very SENSITIVE job of Minister of State for Internal Affairs. This is what his rant tells us:
1. That if he had made it to Cabinet, he could easily record Cabinet proceedings and who knows where they would end up - even across our South Western borderline.
2. That he has such a thin skin that he cannot manage disappointment and online trolling ( and disinformation ) that comes with occupying public office.
3. That he is such a vindictive person who will victimise an official who is simply doing his job as a chair or deputy chair of a committee.
4. That his academic accomplishments aside, he needs to go to the Uganda Management Institute to get basic training in how to handle public affairs.
The other day, whilst using the Kinawataka to Seeta road, through Nantabulirwa.
One could easily surmise from the state of that road that our leaders hate this country. They treat it as a dormitory as their kids and themselves only live to siphon the tax revenue.
Escalation of the construction and finishing of major road infrastructure with in the country. Can we roads like the mpigi express considered high priority.
Goodmorning Uganda
