You canβt plan to meet the people who will change your life. - Steve Jobs.
Five years ago, I started a company with someone I'd never met. Last week I finally met him.
In 2021, @jmsbaduor and I started building @ADPList from opposite ends of the earth. He was in Ghana, then the Netherlands. I was in Singapore, then San Francisco.
People told us it wouldn't hold. That you can't build something real with someone you've never met. That distance breaks things.
We built a platform that connects a million people across 140 countries. The two of us who built it had finally closed the one distance we never had.
This moment is everything.
All these years, it didn't break us. It built us.
Perhaps, AGI is the road we all take there.
And this is our story.
@Abdulgee@premierleague He plays better in both, it's just this season in Liverpool he didn't meet up to expectations ( not that he didn't do well though ) and that was Def Slot fault
American: So there are terrorists causing problems in your country, right?
Nigerian: Yes.
American: That's terrible. Is the government at least doing something about it?
Nigerian: Well, our president addressed the issue.
American: Oh. What did he say?
Nigerian: He spoke about the law of lawf in the holy book
American: ...The law of love?
Nigerian: I guess
American: Okay. Did you send the military after them?
Nigerian: Hmm... at times.
American: What do you mean "at times"?
Nigerian: Sometimes we've heard the military went after them. In some cases, the terrorists ended up killing military personnel.
American: Wait. They killed your soldiers?
Nigerian: Yes.
American: Okay, so then your government retaliated and finished them off, right?
Nigerian: Mm... nah.
American: What do you mean "nah"?
Nigerian: Well, our president also gave an example from the Bible about the prodigal son on how we should accept them with love.
American: Hold on. The prodigal son?
Nigerian: Yes.
American: I'm confused. So you're telling me terrorists killed military personnel, and the response was a Bible lesson?
Nigerian: Something like that.
American: So you guys aren't doing anything?
Nigerian: No, no. We're doing something.
American: Okay. What are you doing?
Nigerian: We're rehabilitating the ones we catch.
American: You're... rehabilitating them?
Nigerian: Yes.
American: Not prosecuting them?
Nigerian: Not according to our president, no.
American: WTF WTF WTF
Nigerian: I never even tell you anything, you don dey cry
When I tweeted this on April 13th, about questioning if we are truly prepared for the workload of our dream clients, I was thinking about how preparation meets opportunity.
Back in 2020/21, @PauloRichie_hga met me in church @thexphng, told me he wanted me to work with Ligue 1 and the EPL, and complimented me. Walking home under the hot Sunday sun, the doubt hit me hard: "Can I really do it?" But I got home, summoned faith, and wrote down Ligue 1, EPL, and UCL on my wishlist.
Looking back, if that Ligue 1 job had come in 2021, I would have blown it because my skills werenβt polished yet. God knew I needed time to build the capacity to handle it.
May 2026: Ligue 1 is officially here; they even sent over an official RC Strasbourg jersey. π«π·π The rest will come in time, by God's grace. ππ₯
I stopped chasing and just prepared for everything I wanted. Now what I want and need finds me, not only available but ready to do great things with every opportunity.

The mission is complete. Now I step into my next calling.
More of the journey to come.
