So I made a trailer for my faction in @originwars_ 🎬

Let me tell you the story of The Veto Order

[Benjamin Anenu @jamin_ow]

Nobody tells you that half of being a founder is refreshing a dashboard to see if one more person played.

[Benjamin Anenu @jamin_ow]

The rule we built @OriginWars_ :

Our Ember forge Engine runs once, at character creation. After that, every battle is deterministic.

Nobody wins because a Engine model had a good day. You win because your deck and your decisions were better.

[Benjamin Anenu @jamin_ow]

@rouentang Bias alert, I'm building one: @OriginWars_ is an action card game where battles last about 90 seconds, so you can put it down anytime. You forge your own character and challenge friends. https://t.co/6GkaY5Hwcj

[Benjamin Anenu @jamin_ow]

@JoshuaAmusan6 Witch Hat Atelier, and it's not close. Magic you draw means anyone can learn it, which is exactly why it's dangerous. Best systems have rules AND a cost. Frieren is a strong second.

[Benjamin Anenu @jamin_ow]

@Aedrareforged This is how you honor a world. Take a footnote from the First War and let it grow into a whole region. Lothar's cavalry finally getting a home after 30 years of lore is the kind of payoff only Warcraft can pull off.

[Benjamin Anenu @jamin_ow]

@40kARTdotcom @IdiotOfTheEast Guilliman in a Pikachu hood is the most wholesome thing the Imperium has produced in 10,000 years. And Kitten going as Shadowsun? Custodes have range.

[Benjamin Anenu @jamin_ow]

@DiscussingFilm Tolkien invented languages before he wrote the story. Every world that lasts starts with someone obsessing over details nobody asked for.

Whatever S3 does, that's the bar.

[Benjamin Anenu @jamin_ow]

@Forhanvv Running console games on a phone is impressive. The bigger leap is games that could only exist on a phone, built for the five minutes you actually have.

[Benjamin Anenu @jamin_ow]

@CinemaSummer In Lagos, the phone is the console. A whole generation's first game was on mobile, not a Nintendo.

Smartphones didn't steal an audience here. They created one. That's why we're building @OriginWars_ mobile first.

[Benjamin Anenu @jamin_ow]

@SkinSpotlights K/DA never misses. Skins are really just players saying "let me make this character mine."

[Benjamin Anenu @jamin_ow]

@InternetH0F Gamers aren't mad about plastic. They're mad about losing what they built. The hours, the characters, the history.

That's the part no publisher should be able to switch off.

[Benjamin Anenu @jamin_ow]

@CyberpunkGame New playstyle is the magic phrase. Every great build starts as a character someone imagined first. Wednesday can't come fast enough.

[Benjamin Anenu @jamin_ow]

@HYPEX @M1yagon @Loolo_WRLD Anime Jonesy is the crossover nobody asked for and everybody is about to buy.

[Benjamin Anenu @jamin_ow]

If you could fight with any character you've ever imagined, who would it be?

One line. Name and what they are.

[Benjamin Anenu @jamin_ow]

@InternetH0F 27 years and Luffy still feels like he started as someone's notebook doodle. Every great character does.

Still the best proof that a story you believe in can outlast everything.

[Benjamin Anenu @jamin_ow]

@AnimeTokki Edgerunners taught a whole generation to care about a character in 10 episodes. Imagine writing your own and watching it fight.

That's the dream we're building at @OriginWars_

[Benjamin Anenu @jamin_ow]

@Pictureaddtt Biased, but mine is one I wrote myself. Virusa Zero, "The Necessary Deception."

She looks sweet. She is not.

[Benjamin Anenu @jamin_ow]

Most games hand you a character someone else designed.

I wrote mine in @OriginWars_. Meet VIRUSA ZERO.
Alias: The Necessary Deception.

She looks sweet. She is not.

Best of 5 against a demon. 4 minutes.

Watch how it ends.

[Benjamin Anenu @jamin_ow]

@stanislawrajm @X Hey Stas, builder from Lagos here. Working on @OriginWars_ with two co-founders, an action card game where players write their own fighters and the game forges the deck. Congrats on the $4k MRR, let's connect.

@OriginWars_ is an action card game where you write your own fighter and the game forges a 28-card deck from your story. Live on iOS and Android, built from Lagos.
