It's been a tough week in @GovGPAA world. Last weekend we lost one of our co-founders, Peter Herrndorf, then we lost Gordon Pinsent. He was a Canadian icon. He was also kind, thoughtful and funny and made everyone feel like they mattered. I'm grateful I got to work with him.

The #GGAwards news is out and I couldn't be happier for our incredible group of laureates. Looking forward to the Gala at @CanadasNAC in May and also to getting a little more sleep tonight than I have in many days.

As usual on #GGAwards Gala night, it's 4 a.m. and I'm just getting to bed. I love my job and it's been a beautiful gift to be back at @CanadasNAC. I work with the most incredible people. Congratulations to our phenomenal laureates and all of us for surviving Gala week!

This brave girl got her second dose of the vaccine with barely a tear at #Jabapalooza today, thanks to @nilikm and her team. The children's music in the gym and kind staff helped A LOT in making this experience as painless as possible for us.

My five-year-old was happy to get vaccinated two weeks ago and I booked my booster last night when the portal opened early. Now we just need an appointment for my husband. So proud of our brave girl. She didn't even say she had a sore arm! #COVID19on

I was dressed as Millennium era @howied last night. My five-year-old in her lion costume asked if I was wearing pyjamas. I told her I was dressed as my favourite band when I was her age, #BSB. We had the best time trick-or-treating.

It's a tough day when we lose a @GovGPAA laureate. Martha Henry was special. I'm grateful for the chance to work with her over our gala weekends, for her wisdom and her dedication to her craft. She was a formidable woman. My heart goes out to the folks at @stratfest.

.@anniefdowns, I lost a dear friend last month. I opened my mailbox tonight to find Remember God. I realized immediately who it was from - my sweet cousin Sam. And now I'm a blubbering mess. I'm grateful to have this book and for such thoughtful friends on this grief journey.
