Starkville and Mayor Spruill have a major problem on their hands.

The district has been an issue for a while now, and it's getting worse.

People from neighboring towns are just coming over and loitering in the streets. They aren't buying anything. They aren't contributing to Starkville's economy in any way. They bring their own alcohol and roam around creating an unsafe environment. This will make a certain few angry, but I don't really care.

They need to fix it. Otherwise all the plans with the Hotel Madelon and other upgrades will be for nothing because Starkville will essentially become West Point or Columbus. And people who actually invest in Starkville will stop doing so, which directly impacts Mississippi State.
