Last week saw the first swallow here - and that was the last we saw - where are they? certainly haven't arrived in this part of North Yorkshire. All the old barn shutters have been opened ready and waiting!

Walking along the River Dove 2 swans glided by - a pen and a cob, serene on the water which reflected the blue sky. All the birds seem to building up to Spring despite the temps, and Patrick our gander is getting feisty!!
