Twitter made people think they're vigilante heroes, and instead of attcaking actual evil individuals they just go after people that doesnt actually do evil stuuff
some people still dismiss emotional reactions to what happens online, as if they are less real just because they happen through a screen. the hurt, sadness, and trauma caused in digital spaces can leave real wounds. never underestimate the weight your words and actions can carry.
nowadays online it's never enough for people to apologize or take accountability for their mistakes, we have to label people as horrible things, have entire humiliation rituals, dig up their past, ruin their lives, yell at people who disagree, etc etc
This means that there is a possibility that jammon would be reduced to one of the OCs, which is fair. I just got bummed out cuz I thought I had it with him. But oh well, until I came up with something new. He will remain the face of this acc
The reason I posted this was because I noticed that people can't just criticize something anymore, they feel the need to shout in the creator's ear and leading to harassment over it. You can dislike something, criticize it and not attacking the creator for it

had a discussion with a friend about how people seem to be more entitled than ever when it comes to indie media. They love to make up the stories and characterizations in their head during the down time between episodes and got disappointed when the actual show isn't like that
