Hon’ble Union Minister for Finance and Corporate Affairs formally launched the nationwide outreach campaign on the Income Tax Act, 2025.

The campaign includes creative communication initiatives, taxpayer guidance material such as guidance notes, tutorial videos and brochures, and extensive public engagement through digital and on-ground platforms, including the MyGov Quiz initiative.

The Hon’ble Finance Minister also inaugurated the Income Tax Website 2.0 as part of the Department’s ongoing digital transformation efforts. The upgraded platform is designed to offer improved usability, simpler navigation, and more efficient service delivery for taxpayers.

Senior and Retired IRS Officers gathered on 20.12.2025 at Amaravati Community Centre, Banjara Hills, Hyderabad, and felicitated Shri P.R. Rao, IRS, and Shri D. Laxminarayana, IRS.

Shri P.R. Rao (1955 batch), former CIT Hyderabad and DG, NADT Nagpur, trained seven batches in Accounts and Income-tax Law and is widely admired for his knowledge and mentorship. Now 95, he is settled in Hyderabad .

Shri D. Laxminarayana (1963 batch), an Investigation expert renowned for searches nationwide, served as CIT Hyderabad and retired as CCIT Bangalore. Now 87, he is settled in Puttaparthi

Both are eminent officers who set high standards of service. Senior officers fondly recalled their exemplary service and lasting contribution to the service and nation.

मुख्य आयकर आयुक्त-4, दिल्ली कार्यालय द्वारा 27 अगस्त से 09 सितम्बर,2025 के मध्य “राष्ट्रीय कर्मयोगी प्रशिक्षण कार्यक्रम” का आयोजन किया गया। मुख्य आयकर आयुक्त-4, श्रीमती रोली अग्रवाल, के मार्गदर्शन में विकास भवन, आई.टी.ओ. में आयोजित इस कार्यक्रम में 09 बैचों के माध्यम से कुल 310 अधिकारियों/कर्मचारियों ने भाग लिया। कार्यक्रम का संयोजन प्रधान आयकर आयुक्त-4, श्री राजीव कुमार तथा प्रधान आयकर आयुक्त-20, श्रीमती शेफाली स्वरुप द्वारा किया गया। प्रशिक्षण का संचालन मास्टर ट्रेनर श्री नितिन कुमार जैमन (अपर आयकर आयुक्त), श्री प्रणव गैरोला (सहायक आयकर आयुक्त), श्री हेमन्त कुमार (सहायक आयकर आयुक्त), श्री बिरेन्द्र कुमार (आयकर अधिकारी) तथा श्री पी. ल्योवम (आयकर अधिकारी) द्वारा किया गया।

इस कार्यक्रम का उद्देश्य आयकर विभाग के अधिकारियों और कर्मचारियों को बेहतर नागरिक-केंद्रित सार्वजनिक सेवाएं प्रदान करने के लिए सशक्त बनाना तथा विकसित भारत के निर्माण में उनकी संदर्भित भूमिका को रेखांकित करना है।

आयकर महानिदेशक (अन्वेषण), दिल्ली कार्यालय द्वारा 26 एवं 27 अगस्त 2025 को “राष्ट्रीय कर्मयोगी प्रशिक्षण कार्यशाला” का आयोजन किया गया। आयकर महानिदेशक (अन्वेषण), श्री मनोज पांडे, के मार्गदर्शन में आयोजित इस कार्यशाला में दो बैचों के माध्यम से कुल 75 कर्मचारियों ने भाग लिया। प्रशिक्षण का संचालन मास्टर ट्रेनर श्री आकर्षण सिंह (अपर आयकर निदेशक), श्री नितिन कुमार जैमन (अपर आयकर आयुक्त) और सुश्री प्रतिभा मीणा (अपर आयकर आयुक्त) द्वारा किया गया।

इन कार्यशालाओं का उद्देश्य आयकर विभाग के अधिकारियों और कर्मचारियों को बेहतर, नागरिक-केंद्रित सार्वजनिक सेवाएं प्रदान करने के लिए सशक्त बनाना है।
