@TheKopHQ Also if Villa win tonight and lose on sunday and we beat Brentford and finish 4th, Bournemouth or even Brighton could qualify for the CL in 6th
@TheKopHQ I think the Liverpool/Brentford, Bournemouth/Forest games are quite important. I know we need to lose, Bournemouth win and there be like a 4 goal swing but after this season nothing would surprise me.
@thisisanfield Agree, especially when the only reason we are still in with a shout of qualifying is more down to other teams shortcomings than our own performances.
@SHoomwitter Im beginning to actively dislike him. Its almost like he goes into these things thinking "what could I say that will really piss of the supporters"
Even Brendan wasn't this bad and he came out with some absolute shite
@SamueILFC@XabiAlonso The only thing that makes sense is that Hughes, Edwards nor anyone from FSG actually watch the football being played. There's no way anyone with even a passing knowledge of the game can watch this and think that Slots the person to take the club forward
@HenryJackson87 Never want a manager to fail but theres been no evidence to suggest a turnaround. Hes also lost a lot of the fanbase, not only due to the performances/poor tactical decisions but also how he handles himself in press conferences. The 2 titles in 30 years comment was ill advised.
@thisisanfield Delusional. The only reason it looks semi acceptable is because we have a decent buffer between us and 6th. Last 5 league games: Everton(we wer unconvincing) Fulham(sketchy at times) Brighton(outfought) Spurs(shocking) and Wolves(relegated). Should be at least 6 points better off
@DaveOCKOP The gap between us and Chelsea is because they are awful not down to Slot "turning it around" weve been lucky more than anything. Nor has there been anything to inspire confidence if he stays in charge. I hope he succeeds but I think we will see more of the same until christmas.
