Taking care of said puppy included Jason moving to the couch at 2:00 AM so the dang dog wouldn’t cry all night. He said, “I got it. I want you to sleep. Go back to bed.”
He’s a good man.
Just here to say I married up.
I crashed at 7PM last night (see previous tweet about exhaustion). Jason did laundry, folded clothes, unloaded and reloaded the dishwasher, got my coffee mug out for me for the morning, and took care of our insane puppy.
I started wearing my watch to bed in order to track my sleep. I average 6 hours a night in a good week.
Mentioned my average this afternoon before our weekly PD meeting, and I got a range of responses from coworkers.
One exclaimed that 6 was good - they average around 4.
Another said that they never get 8 hours - even on the weekend.
Another stated that they rarely sleep though the night spending several hours awake and only finally falling back asleep when it’s time to get up.
Micro managing is bad leadership*.
You either trust the people you hired to do the jobs you hired them to do, or you don’t. If you don’t, hire people you do, or can, trust.
*not actual leadership

I do not understand the whole wear-a-fanny-pack-as-a-crossbody thing.
Just use a crossbody purse? Or a sling backpack?
Someone explain it to me. Why is this a thing?
First week back to work ended at 12 today, and I crashed and took a 2.5 hour nap when I got home. The kids aren’t even back yet, and I’m zonked 😴😴
Got to get back in that work mode, QUICK
