Have you ever wondered how our skin heal wounds?
Skin #stemcells play a major role! Are you curious to know how they wake up from slumber & come to action when you get wounded?
If yes, here's an exciting opportunity to know more...

Excellent work that shows how vascular pathology drives disease progression in scleroderma. I have had multiple interactions with @DyutiSaha, who drove this project with independence. She is currently applying for postdoctoral positions in Europe, and I strongly recommend her.
ICYMI: Vasculopathy occurs early in systemic sclerosis, but intervention strategies are lacking.
After revealing angiopoietin-like protein 2 as an inducer of vasculopathy that drives cutaneous fibrogenesis in mice—mirroring that found in systemic sclerosis— @DyutiSaha@Jamora_lab@ShivNadarUniv@dls_snioe@DBT_inStem present UAS03 as a therapeutic approach.

India is not playing catch-up in gene and cell therapy — it’s charting its own path.
Writing in @SciChronicle4, Prof. Praveen K. Vemula (@pkvemula) and Dr. Ketan Thorat (@Ketan_Thorat9) from @DBT_inStem shed light on India’s quiet revolution that is pushing boundaries for affordable, accessible therapies.

We are thrilled to share that the undergrad trainees in our lab: Kaivalya Neerukattu, Navya Jain, and S. Srimathi — were selected to present their research at the undergraduate research conference #Summit 2.0 at @ShivNadarUniv.

It's great pleasure to share my PhD work at @Jamora_lab. It sheds light on how Bacopa Monnieri (Bramhi) phytochemicals increase wound healing by affecting the complex cellular machinery. Thank you @lorealindia for this fruitful collaboration.@DBT_inStem

It was an incredible opportunity to nurture children's curiosity and ignite their excitement for science,
and convey the importance of our work to its real funders - the people!
We thoroughly enjoyed every moment of it and were left feeling invigorated & inspired!
@DBT_inStem
We had a great time explaining our research to young students and laypersons during the open day @DBT_inStem.
Visitors learned about the fascinating aspects of #Skin's structure🔬, function, and the 𝘄𝗼𝘂𝗱 𝗵𝗲𝗮𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗴 process while playing fun & interactive games🎲.
Congratulations to our very own @TanayBhatt & team @kosh_key for adding yet another feather in their cap!
KoshKey is a startup applying basic research from the @Jamora_Lab@DBT_inStem to develop a siRNA-based therapy to combat "superbugs"(antibiotic-resistant bacteria)
