University of Roehampton, UK 🇬🇧 will NOT be issuing CAS (Confirmation of Acceptance of Studies) to any country in West Africa like Nigeria etc; India, Bangladesh, Pakistan even if you’ve paid deposit.
Some UK 🇬🇧 universities might follow suits soon. UKVI wants to reduce net immigration.
Remember that by January 2027, post study reduces from 2 years to 18 months.
Japa is about timing, there was a time someone said people going to UK are going to Lagos, how about that now?

10 Different Visas you can explore as an international student in the UK 🇬🇧 to settle in the UK. 1) Skilled Worker Visa. The threshold to sponsor now for companies have grown to £42000 per annum. To be earning this, you need to up your skills especially with the following: data analysis, software engineering, project management etc. Use your money to do trainings and get sponsored. Many companies are sponsoring. Even Civil service departments such as ONS, Ministry of Justice , HRMC do sponsor. I know many people on this route. 2) Global Talent Visa. This is divided into four: I) Digital Technology : for roles such as software engineers, data analysis , network engineers and the likes. II) Art and Culture: for professionals in performing art, visual art fashion and design III) Research and Academia : this is for lecturers. You need PHD and research papers to be granted this.
IV) Design Industry Pathway: this is just newly introduced by UK for Graphic designer, UI/UX designer, product designer, industrial design, I have many videos on my page that I described this route intensively. I have helped many people to successfully translate to this route. 3) Health and Care Work Visa: this is popular route but it’s still a route. However, I encourage people under this route to upgrade themselves by going for nursing degrees and it would ensure they earn better. 4) Self Sponsorship: Many people don’t know about this. If you’re under post graduate work visa, you’re allowed to start a business. I wrote extensively about different business you can do on my page today so you can check them. There’s no business you can’t self sponsor yourself as long as you are earning above £42000 threshold. 5) Innovative work Visas: this is for entrepreneurs with an innovative and scalable business idea endorsed by different approved body.
6) Spouse and Partner Visas: If you marry a British partner, you may be eligible through spouse, civil partner, or unmarried partner visa. The financial requirements is £29000 per year which comes from employment of the British citizen. This is a route you can consider if you are not married. It is a legitimate route.
7) Further Study Route: This is not a palatable route but you can explore it. If you finish your BSc, you can proceed for MSc and proceed to PHD. You might later qualify for 10 years route for ILR when you are done or even global talent visas after your PhD.
8) Parent of a British Child route: if you have a child that is British, you can apply to remain with them on the basis of parent with settled status in the UK. It is a possibility but not automatic. You must be able to argue that you have parental responsibility and taking active role in the child’s upbringing.
9) High Potential Individual (HPI): To qualify you must have a degree from a university on the eligible Global universities List, awarded within the Last 5 years. You don’t need a job offer for it.
10) UK Ancestry Visa: available to eligible commonwealth citizens if your grandparent was born in the UK. You can apply for 5 years work Visa which can lead to Indefinite Leave to Remain later on.
All the best in your Japa Journey.
Nigerian happened to one of my clients this week. She lost her UK 🇬🇧 admission.
She did her pre CAS interviews in the morning on Thursday. As she was doing it NEPA took off the light and the system wasn’t charged. She quickly ran to put on generator to complete it so that the system won’t go off. Eventually, the system went off and she resumed the pre CAS interviews to complete it.
Yesterday, the school sent her an email that she failed the pre CAS interviews because they noticed presence of other people in the video.
Chai , Nigeria and NEPA.
Admission lost in the UK 🇬🇧.
If you want to do any interviews that has to do with Visa or admission for your Japa, ensure your electricity is stable. This is a big lesson to learn from.
There’s nothing shameful about using education to japa & coming back if you couldn’t land a job.
Come back home, instead of hiding from authorities & living like a fugitive. Fortune can smile on you again at home.
