@TageForHart Don’t really see why you would move him after how he played unless you’re getting something really significant and other big pieces going out as well.
@R271967@RigasTimothy@VinDeStefano1 Just shows how wildly misleading analytics can be. Timmins turned the puck over and/or failed to clear the zone multiple times that could have easily led to goals against. Byram has had stretches (and seasons even) with poor analytics, but is incredibly valuable to this team.
@Tommy_Dangles72 I don’t know where the idea came from that asst coach just runs the PP and little else and is completely responsible for it. Dahlin is not a great PP player, Tage was only when given space to shoot. Coaching matters but it’s not as simple as “Appert sucks it must be his fault”
@Tommy_Dangles72 Stupid take. Asst coaches do FAR more than just run PP.. Hockey is not football, limited X’s and O’s even on PP. Coaches don’t make successful PPs... McDavid doesn’t need a coach to light up PP. Everyone ripped on Ellis - Same group of players, they’re just average at it for now
@LancasterBro@CMDeDominicis Timmins was horrendous. How he got 15 minutes at Kess got 10 makes zero sense to me whatsoever. Kesselring didn’t look great, but not nearly as bad as Timmins - he also didn’t make any glaring turnovers like some of the top 4 did. Lindy is living rent free in his head. Clearly
@Mike_Bundt Something is clearly going on with Kesselring. Either an undisclosed injury (why would they do that..?) or a complete disconnect between player and mgmt/coach. I think he expressed frustration and at this point he is done in Buffalo and just waiting to be moved in offseason
@gCan28@23sabres I think the same, he’s gone and has played his last game for the blue and gold. Probably was frustrated about the deadline moves and not being in lineup and made that known. It’s either that or undisclosed injury but that doesn’t make much sense to not just say that. Sucks.
@Brendan_Conley1@pham1717 That or injury that isn’t being disclosed for whatever reason. Not sure why they would do that and make it seem like he’s in the doghouse
@Brendan_Conley1@pham1717 To be fair I have no evidence for this - But I’m convinced there’s a major disconnect between player and coach/mgmt. I’m sure Kesselring was very frustrated after the deadline moves. I think he has one foot out the door at this point and we’re not likely to see him play
