지난 5일 서울 올림픽공원 KSPO DOME에서 열린 월드 투어 ‘슈퍼쇼 10(SUPER SHOW 10) SJ - CORE in SEOUL’ 공연 후반부에서 객석 측면에 설치된 안전 펜스가 붕괴됐다.

사고는 앙코르 마지막 곡 무대 중 멤버들이 객석 가까이 다가가 인사하던 과정에서 발생했다. 멤버 려욱 등이 팬들에게 다가가자 인파가 펜스 쪽으로 쏠렸고, 이를 견디지 못한 시설물이 무너지면서 인근에 있던 관객 3명이 1층 바닥으로 추락했다.

해당 장면은 각종 커뮤니티에서 영상으로 돌아다니며 많은 네티즌들이 "사고 이후 시큐리티를 데려온게 아티스트였다" "병원으로 간 팬이 스레드에 글 올렸는데 검사 끝날때 까지 병원 로비에서 콘서트 스태프와 영상 속 아티스트가 기다렸다더라" "평소에도 기대지 말라는 안내문구가 있는 곳" 등의 글을 남겼다.

“I’ve decided to open a new account to talk about this.
First of all, thank you everyone for your concern. I’ve had X-rays and a CT scan—everything is fine. It’s just that my left leg hurts a lot and I can’t move it for now. My head and neck are not injured. My hair was covered in cake (thank you for ‘protecting’ me (?)). I’ve just left the hospital and returned to my place.
I originally didn’t want to say more, but I really hope everyone understands what happened. Ryeowook had been waiting for me. Since only two people were allowed to accompany me during the examination, I didn’t expect that when I returned to the hospital lobby, I would see Ryeowook and several staff members waiting there. After we fell, Ryeowook and Siwon came down immediately, and we were taken to a nearby small hospital right away. Ryeowook and another member came to check on us. I thought they would leave after we were transferred to another hospital, but it turns out Ryeowook stayed the whole time. They are truly very warm-hearted people.

I was at the con last night. I witnessed with my own eyes RW came running down the stairs to find the security team and all the security team - venue staff rushed to the scene immediately. They took care of the situation with no delay.
