Every time you’re getting a foreign-used car, remember: it’s not a brand-new car, especially 2016 and older.

Check the gear oil.
Check the brake pads.
Check the shock absorbers.
Do your oil service.
If it’s a 4-wheel drive, check the axle oil.

Get the first maintenance right, and that car shouldn’t give you serious problems for years.
