I’m thrilled (still terrified tbh) to announce that I’ve co-founded Worldcraft, a tech startup to solve the pain of world building. As an author, I know the unease AI brings, but I’m proud to be building something that protects human creativity while also giving us a leg up.
@katasterizo So more power to the women who “conformed” and also got post-graduate degrees, has a 100k salaried job, started their own businesses, is self-publishing their novel, oh & started a podcast? Because conforming means you can’t do anything else? Or were you just looking for praise?
@RWeberWrites I’ve read through most of these & they are horrifying. But, I’d like to give a good positive example so people know good doctors exist. I told my OB I was overly tired and no energy-not normal, even though I was 16-18 weeks pregnant. I asked them to run test & they did. Low iron
@Adaru32 @RWeberWrites I was diagnosed with ADHD at 33… and I don’t have a co-morbid disorder. This is so frustrating. I went to a psychiatrist who did a brain scan. But when I was in college the doctor said I was just trying to get adderral and dismissed me.
@moodpitchers @jaxtylerwrites I actually think this is more fair as well. For people who don’t have a lot of friends to boost their post it’s more accessible and feels like they might have a chance for their post to be seen.
@BranwenOShea@LAThomasAuthor I didn’t have structural issues either. I think it’s because I write with consequences in mind and in a “logical” story progression sort of way.
