@justalexoki Probably like any transition between meta stable states, there's an energy barrier to overcome. Neural cascades in the brain probably favor lower energy states (strong, myelinated connections). Moving down a different pathway requires more energy than continuing down the current.

Bernoulli's states: static pressure + dynamic pressure = constant
