Another infant burned in the atom's purgatory. Ties back to the title and the idea that Majorana's genius was snuffed out too soon. Physicists mourn his early vanishing, but in the poem, he sees physics has lost its innocence. "Elementary particles" – a nod to Houellebecq, whom I love.
