🌹❗️During their free NHS 40 plus health check, women are assessed for conditions that may affect them as they grow older. Menopause, however, is not included❗️🌹
To include an assessment for Menopause would be cost-neutral and would help millions of women recognise the symptoms. Including the menopause in the 40-plus health check would also prevent needless GP appointments going forward. @menomandate and I have been campaigning tirelessly on this issue, and I am so pleased to hear that the Secretary of State, @wesstreeting, agrees that progress needs to be made on this vital issue.

🌹❤️I am honoured to receive an endorsement from Margaret Coleman. ❤️🌹
Margaret's late husband, Donald Coleman, was the Member of Parliament for Neath from 1964 to 1991. Donald fought tirelessly during the economic devastation caused by the Tory government. Margaret can see that, like Donald, I'm one of you, part of the community, fighting for social justice.
On July 4th, you have the opportunity to vote for change. Vote Labour. Vote Carolyn Harris for Neath and Swansea East.
Neath has so much to offer! With the sun shining, Carolyn visited today, did some shopping in the wonderful Neath market, & chatted with residents about the general election, & how the impact of a Tory Government has had on them for many years.

Too little too late! - No Pool, No Plan
Despite knowing that the pool only had a maximum of 2 years usable life in 2022, only now, when closure is to be confirmed, is the Independent/Plaid Cymru led Coalition even considering making a plan.

Congratulations to Lauren Heard on her new election win last night in the Neath East ward with 43.8% of the vote. We all look forward to working with you and seeing the difference you'll make to your community, following on from the late Cllr. Sheila Penry's work.
There is no route to the more
compassionate country that we want to be which doesn’t pass through the more prosperous country that we need to be.
Let’s get to work.
