The flags at Delta City Hall have been lowered to half-mast today in remembrance of two Elders from Tsawwassen First Nation who tragically lost their lives on Wednesday. We extend our heartfelt condolences to the entire Tsawwassen First Nation community during this painful time.
@bchydro I don’t typically complain but last power outage my area was out of power for 14 hours. I’d appreciate it if we could see some sort of update soon.
Was just interviewing someone at an overdose prevention site in Vancouver's DTES. Someone sitting near us overheard, joined in the convo. When I was done with the interview, spoke with second man.
@Canucksfan1000 @ValerieJMaclean@bchydro Mine just came back now after 16 hours no power, This was the second time it was off in two days, first time was over 5 hours and this one 16, i’m so beyond disappointed since my animals had to suffer in the cold
@bchydro So why isn't Surrey being prioritized at all?! Considering we were ones of the first ones down!! This is unacceptable. Why would you leave the hardest hit area to just suffer?? It's been since 11pm with no power. Why is Surrey always shafted every storm?
@bchydro This is the second night in a row that i’ve had no power and with assignments and school work to do, it has been a struggle. hopefully you can provide an ETA soon.
