It was volunteer training tonight! Our volunteers were able to get in and use our adaptive carts to experience what our members experience. #changingcourseimprovinglife
@ASGCA@ILoveDyeGolf I miss hearing the wisdom of Alice Dye, ASGCA and Vicki Martz, ASGCA. Because they included opportunities for slow club head speed golfers in their designs and and shared their reasons and observations, golf for all was, and continues to be, positively influenced.
@GCSAACEO@GCSAA@chava_mckeel@kevinsunderman So much respect for Chava McKeel, her attention to government affairs, educating, engaging & expanding a team, and creating relationships with other organizations for the betterment of the game, sport & business of golf. Grateful for her leadership!
#Tbt ...the 2010 @ASGCA Annual Meeting, bringing together a few women who have positively impacted the golf industry: Vicki Martz, ASGCA (left) & a pair of ASGCA Presidents, Alice Dye & Jan Bel Jan. @ILoveDyeGolf@janbeljan
Is there still a place for the "Design Triangle" from Bob Graves & Geoffrey Cornish of Maintenance, Playability & Aesthetics? @GCSAATV explores design w/maintenance in mind with @janbeljan, @JeffreyDBrauer, @JeffBlumeASGCA & @ForrestPhx. https://t.co/LOsLhlEWOU @ASGCA
@SProctorGolf Great news, indeed!! Thanks to you and all those who supported this worthy mission. You have demonstrated that public courses can be operated as successful small businesses.
Golf news of a different sort. Four years ago, the two public courses I play faced closure. A group of players, including me, formed a nonprofit and got a 3-year contract to prove we could manage them profitably. Today, we signed a 10-year extension — a huge win for public golf.
@TheGCSNetwork@BarenbrugUSA Sherri Brogan, CGCS doing what she does best! Thanks to the always enlightened and enlightening Pat Jones and Barenbrug for featuring Sherri whose career speaks for itself and can speak to others about how self-belief can make others believers.
From her successful record as a competitive golfer to her decades long run as superintendent at Champions GC in Columbus, Sherri Brogan, CGCS has a long history of proving the naysayers wrong. Episode 2 of #NetworkIcons presented by @BarenbrugUSA is live! https://t.co/v2fsVhYTGN
