Our Father gives us freedom. The question is will we follow our desires or will we love Him and be loyal, obedient disciples.
Jesus never said, "Follow your heart." We've ALWAYS gotten in trouble when we've done this.
He said, "Follow me."

Ever been unsatisified with leaders that do not keep their promises? Of course you have!
Our God, King and Saviour has always kept His promises. His love and loyalty to us should inspire our faith, love, and obedience even in the hardest times of our life.
See you in church!
@KySportsRadio@KSBarAndGrille Posted on the KSBar thread … but it bears repeating.
Loved the opportunity to meet y’all … and the food was really good!!!
It was also a real shock and pleasure to see my pic making @MarioMaitland_3’s montage.
God created us in His image and Jesus came to show us the Father.
Humans have spent a lot of time and energy recreating (reducing) Him in the way we want Him to be.
We should truly reflect Him in all we do as individuals and as a community.

As we live here as a pilgrim let’s not look back fondly on “the leeks and garlic” of our Egypt (Numbers 11:5).
Let’s not stay in our own spiritual Egypt when a land of rest is promised to us.
Praise be to our Passover & Deliverer!

A man came to Jesus and said his family wanted to talk.
Then he said, "Here are my mother and my brothers! Whoever does the will of my Father in heaven is my brother and sister and mother.”
Even if you don't have family, you have family if you're a disciple.
See you in church!
Becoming a disciple is a personal choice.
There are many important people in our lives that can effect our faith, for better and for worse.
But we become a disciple when we make our own decision.
We should all make it and keep on making it every day.

"I know you’ve heard it one way in the past ...”
“He who has ears to hear let them hear.”
“The kingdom of heaven is like ..."
Our King has explained what His kingdom is like.
Let's not shape in our image.
His image and ways are already perfect.

To all my preaching brothers, preach it straight today. The Gospel needs to be proclaimed not modernized!
We should worship Him like He wants and like He's there ... because He is.
I AM is our always present, wise God and king of grace, love, and goodness.
See you in church!
A disciple should think and act like the King, not like the current idol in their lives.
A disciple's sacrifices should be like the King's, not just what makes them feel comfortable.
A disciple submits and surrenders to the King.
Who's your king?

Calling Thomas "doubting" deflects from the truth that ALL of the Twelve were doubting until they saw Him alive.
But the fact remains Thomas missed out.
Don't be a Thomas anymore. Show up. Be present and enjoy the fellowship and worship of our risen King.
See you in church!
