Our God, King and Saviour has always kept His promises. His love and loyalty to us should inspire our faith, love, and obedience even in the hardest times of our life.

God created us in His image and Jesus came to show us the Father.
Humans have spent a lot of time and energy recreating (reducing) Him in the way we want Him to be.
We should truly reflect Him in all we do as individuals and as a community.

Let’s not stay in our own spiritual Egypt when a land of rest is promised to us.

Even if you don't have family, you have family if you're a disciple.

Becoming a disciple is a personal choice.
There are many important people in our lives that can effect our faith, for better and for worse.
But we become a disciple when we make our own decision.
We should all make it and keep on making it every day.

We should worship Him like He wants and like He's there ... because He is.

A disciple should think and act like the King, not like the current idol in their lives.
A disciple's sacrifices should be like the King's, not just what makes them feel comfortable.
A disciple submits and surrenders to the King.

Calling Thomas "doubting" deflects from the truth that ALL of the Twelve were doubting until they saw Him alive.
But the fact remains Thomas missed out.
Don't be a Thomas anymore. Show up. Be present and enjoy the fellowship and worship of our risen King.
