Gas is getting cheaper and more expensive at the same time. What's happening: the government is pushing more E15 (15% ethanol) through emergency waivers.
E15 is bad news for small engines and many vehicles. It runs hotter, pulls in more water from humidity, speeds up corrosion, and damages rubber and plastic fuel system components. Never put it in generators, mowers, chainsaws, boats, or pre-2001 vehicles.
A few things worth knowing:
Pure gasoline (no ethanol) stores 12 months untreated and up to 2 years with a stabilizer like Sta-Bil added when fresh. E10 starts breaking down in 3 months. E15 even faster.
To find ethanol free gas near you, check pure-gas dot org. It'll cost more but it's the only fuel you should be putting into reserve tanks or anything you want to actually start later.
For finding the cheapest legitimate gas in your area, the Gas Buddy app is solid.
Storage tips: keep tanks cool, dark, and as full as possible to minimize air space. Air contact accelerates oxidation.
Fill your reserve tanks with the right gas, store it right, and you've got fuel ready when you actually need it.
An American man went to fuel his truck, which had run reliably and without issue for 15 years, for the first time with the new E15 gas, and it immediately stopped working.
“I’ve had this truck for 15 years. The first time I put E15 in it, now it won’t start.”
In the unseen realms where shadows scheme and darkness rises, a heavenly call echoes through the storm: Put on the full armor of God. Stand firm, beloved warrior. Clothe yourself in the belt of truth that holds you steady, the breastplate of righteousness that guards your heart, the shoes of peace that carry you forward, the shield of faith that quenches every fiery dart, the helmet of salvation that renews your mind, and the sword of the Spirit—alive with the very Word of God.
As lightning splits the heavens and angelic hosts assemble, fear dissolves, anxiety bows, and every evil plan crumbles beneath the power that watches over you. You are not alone in this battle. The Lord of Hosts fights for you. Rise in strength, walk in victory, and advance boldly— for greater is He who is in you than he who is in the world.
Armor up. The victory is already won. 🙏✨
🐦⬛Birds sing thousands of songs each day. Did you get that? Thousands of different, beautiful songs to the Lord. Some birds spend about 70% of their day simply singing. They sing to claim their territory and to attract other birds. I can’t help but compare this to how we, as believers, who love Jesus Christ, should be singing our praises to Him so much that others are attracted to know Him.
Our lives of praise should attract others to the cross of Christ.
Another beautiful reminder I have learned from the birds is that their songs are heard loudly early in the morning. We know that Jesus woke up early in the morning to spend time with His Father, and so should we wake up and dedicate our day and time to Him. (Mark 1:35) Birds sing early in the day before they start any of their work. They put forth their first energy of the new day proclaiming praise and a beautiful new song.
Psalm 96:1 “Sing to the LORD a new song; sing to the LORD, all the earth.”
What is the song you are singing today?
What praises are flowing from your heart to your mouth and onto those around you? ❤️
