I was noting countertransference not abortion rights. And looking for the humanity in every situation. Unlike tweeters!

Termination may make it easier for YOU but not her.

@DataDrivenMD And yes I have sat with a mother throughout the long labour and helped deliver an anencephalic infant. It was an education about motherhood and a privilege to be witness. Grief and respect ...and tears...are part of medicine.

@davewilson2 Working in entry level jobs in the real world whilst studying medicine is very beneficial to the quality graduate doctors. Medical schools are insular, privileged places and med students need exposure to less than hallowed roles.

@BuckAngel I was a tomboy growing up in the seventies. Took on a boys name in the family, self nicknamed Ponyboy at school. Identified with George in Famous Five. Hated dolls and dresses. Matured late. Love being a strong independent woman and most of all mother. Still a tomboy too.
