If international law requires the UK to rescue illegal migrants from dangerous boats it also requires the French to do that. So why do they not do that, greatly increasing the dangers and risks for the migrants?
Nobody voted for this. We repeatedly voted against this.
Now taxpayers are expected to pay £115 million to cover the cost of a lifetime stay in the UK for these illegal migrants.
We’re not broke. We’re just have the wrong priorities.
Labour’s Net Zero Secretary championed the VAT raid on private schools – but it's now emerged she sends all three of her own children to one. A classic case of socialism for thee, but not for me.

"We won't let them change our way of life," says just about every politician after every terror attack. Except that it's rubbish. Because our way of life *is* being changed in the most fundamental way. Whether it's Trafalgar Square or (as here) the seafront at Ayr on the west coast of Scotland, these grotesque barriers are a reminder of what we have lost. (H/t @GHWTowler.)
Can news readers and reporters stop calling this 15 metre long dinghy carrying 230 illegal migrants across the Channel overnight a "small boat".
It's longer than a double decker bus. It's even longer than a train carriage. It's not small. It's bloody HUGE.
That boat and its cargo should fill us with dread.
How much are those undocumented young males going to cost our country?
How many women and girls will they pose a threat to?
How is this horror show allowed to go on day after day?

For context - two and a half of these boats and the Crowborough Army Barracks is full, five of them and the new site in Piddington would be full. Then where do we put them?
When all of the details of this latest investigation are made public, this is going to be a VERY VERY VERY big story. And it's not going to reflect well on the people who are supposed to keep us ALL safe.
I’ll set the scene… imagine this was a Reform UK councillor. This would have been rolling news and on the front of every paper.
You know it, and I know it.
Counter Terrorism Police have referred themselves to the IOPC.
Read that again. They have referred themselves.
Now look up “stochastic terrorism” and understand what it means.
Years of relentless articles and rhetoric targeting Nigel Farage and Reform. Then, after Ann Widdecombe’s murder, some of that material starts quietly disappearing.
The investigation into the attack on Farage’s home has now been reopened because police missed a significant line of inquiry.
Make your own mind up.
I have.
I would like to remind the Archbishop of Canterbury that when Jesus Christ said 'Love thy neighbour as thyself',
He didn't say 'Love thy neighbour better than yourself'
Then the lawsuits will keep coming. Should any female patient or member of staff require funding to fight this assault on their legal rights, apply to https://t.co/iyohnrgVZN
Every week the news is some variation of:
"Council spends £X million on crazy thing"
"Migrant from unknown address rapes/ murders woman"
"Prisoner released early/ crazy person police did nothing about murders someone"
"Sadiq Khan says the Far Right are spreading lies about London"
Anything I've missed?
EXCL: A deal between Vodaphone and Care4Calais has seen thousands of SIM cards loaded with 6 months of data, handed out to illegals.
The charity boasts about the 116,000+ freebies handed to illegals, including joggers, Ramadan food packs, haircuts, bike repairs.
👇Full report
The Government Office for Science has commissioned a report that should concern us all.
It is framed as a document designed to help tackle the spread of “misinformation”, but what it really seeks to achieve is the neutralisation of independent thought.
The report’s Orwellian proposals include “psychological inoculation”, “pre-bunking” and game-based “interventions” designed to steer the public towards state-approved political messages.
It’s truly sinister.
