Gaza’s Greek Orthodox Church held funeral services today for Maysa Daoud and her daughter, Mary, who were killed while sleeping when an Israeli strike hit their apartment in western Gaza City, according to Gaza’s Civil Defense.

Civil Defence said five civilians, including three women and a child, were killed in the strike, and shared footage of its crews joining members of Gaza’s Christian community at the funeral for the victims.

He is correct and the people mad at him for saying this are still in denial about the fact that the Democrats serve the same capitalist and imperialist machine as Republicans.

If you want things to get better for the people you can’t just rage against half the machine while voting for the other half. You have to fight back against the entire corrupt machine and replace it with something better.

Breaking: New York prosecutors are reopening the investigation into the gang rape at a Cornell University fraternity in 2024.

A lawsuit from the victim reveals she was drugged and raped by 7 fraternity members of Chi Phi and includes evidence from a group chat in which one of the perpetrators wrote:

"Free Pussy upstairs.”

The lawsuit also reveals Cornell University turned a blind eye to the gang rape by only expelling 2 of the accused perpetrators while allowing the remaining 5 to write essays to avoid discipline.

This is the same Cornell University that suspended 4 students for protesting against Israel’s genocide so according to this “higher institution” drugging and raping women is ok, but protesting genocide is not.

It also shows what a backwards country we live in when a so-called Ivy League college thinks writing an essay is an appropriate response to rape instead of handcuffs and prison.

Finally, while it is welcomed news that prosecutors are presenting the case to a grand jury it should not take the victim having to file a lawsuit and widespread public backlash for prosecutors to do their jobs.
