@RadioX @PhilNWang @EdGambleComedy @matthewcrosby @GlobalPlayer Why isn't the podcast out yet?

[Emily January @janecdotes]

@Bearsbrownies When should we expect the second half of our advent calendar?

[Emily January @janecdotes]

@magic_at_mungos @Fabulist_Becky I love that you tagged me in this. I actually introduced Becky to Erika's work a couple of weeks ago 😆

[Emily January @janecdotes]

@NeilGarratt @mpezet I feel like there needs to be lights, to slow people down and actually allow crossing. The distance we have to walk to get a wheelchair across the street around there is ridiculous.

All These Worlds is out today! That is, pre-orders have been shipped, the Kindle edition is live https://t.co/1TG9AInEGa and there will be copies available for purchase throughout eastercon. Here's a short post about the book:

[Emily January @janecdotes]

@rahaeli The email I got was late 2020 (a fest accidentally revealed early and had to undo it) so it has been there a couple of years, at least. But yes, there's still an issue. People adding themselves to collections seems so much safer.

[Emily January @janecdotes]

@rahaeli For what it's worth, they do send an email to tell you when a work has been made unrevealed. Just double checked this and I have received such an automated email in the past.

[Emily January @janecdotes]

@RussFrushtick thanks for mentioning the Psychodyssy doc on @thebestiespod lead to having a great time finally playing the game and then a fascinating time watching the doc. I hope you get to talk about it more in depth on the show if the others watch it because it's wild.

[Emily January @janecdotes]

@Styla73 Oh fuck friend, I didn't know you were ill, I'm sorry you're having such a shitty time of it ❤️❤️❤️

[Niall Harrison @niallharrison]

So in a month's time, I will be part-way through being one of the guests at @eastercon2023, which I'm looking forward to a great deal. As part of that, I'll be launching All These Worlds, a collection of reviews and essays!

@DawsonsLeftPeg I don't have the numbers in front of me, but had a heat pump installed in August and energy bill Dec '22 was less than Dec '21 (which was much warmer), at both points on the default rolling tariff. This video has interesting analysis from a colder climate https://t.co/5OJlEUrQe7

[Emily January @janecdotes]

@TS13ontour Are you aware of twickets? It's a fan-to-fan resell site that doesn't allow mark-ups, other than to cover booking fees. It's a major platform that sells many thousands of tickets and so a lot safer than just DMing on Twitter https://t.co/bAELXvookO

[Emily January @janecdotes]

Just had my heart broken learning the podcast of the @DaveGorman Absolute Radio show with @captainward and Martin White is no longer online. And I'm trying to find it realised it ended almost exactly 10 years ago? Time is so cruel.

@moorehn @NorseLokiFan This particular mess is caused absolutely by the hubris of the right-wing Oxford middle class English people, but to say "England" stopped electing leaders is wrong on many levels and downplays the fact that Welsh, Scottish, and Northern Irish people are all impacted here.

[Emily January @janecdotes]

@moorehn @NorseLokiFan The Prime Minister is PM of the UK. In 2007 Gordon Brown, a Scottish MP, was made Prime Minister without a general election. The First Minister for Scotland is chosen by the Scottish Parliament. The First Minister for Wales is chosen by the Senedd. None are directly elected.
