I live in Seattle, I have all symptoms of COVID-19 and have a history of chronic bronchitis.
Since I work in a physical therapy clinic with many 65+ patients and those with chronic illnesses, I decided to be responsible and go to get tested. This is how that went.
@Vivien_Jackson Thanks for mentioning this, Viv. Very interesting piece! I am by nature and training more psychologist than sociologist, but I'm continually reminded of how important family structures and communities are. The possible demise of the RWA family is breaking my heart.
@GretchenRix Me! Already had black-eyed peas, collard & mustard greens,
ham, sliced tomatoes & onions. Leftovers for tonight, too. 2020 should be overflowing with good luck!
@ChristinaDodd I think it was "La Cucaracha" (sp?), ie "The Cockroach" in Spanish. Or maybe it was "Chopstsicks." I was about 8. My musical career prep ended sadly when I was about 10. I can still find middle C & that's about it.
@ChristinaDodd This made me laugh & start coughing. Good thing. I have pneumonia & need to loosen up stuff in my lungs. I always knew laughter was the best medicine. Certainly cheaper than mainlining antibiotics! Thanks, m'dear.
@PRbyMichelle@courtneymilan I'm a July baby, too. The 21st.
The nicest birthday present I ever got from my mom (now deceased) was when a gift she'd ordered failed to make it on time. In it's place, she wrote up several great anecdotes from the "olden days" of the family. I treasure them.
