We 5 child refugees of the Kindertransport handed in a letter to Downing St yesterday calling on the government to act now to welcome the child refugees of today. These children should have the same opportunities in Britain that we were given in 1938-39.

An aside - a UK government that is able to say that come what may, it will avoid hard borders with Ireland/NI after Brexit can never again tell Scotland that independence would mean a hard border between Scotland and rUK
