@glowin_the_dork This is why in the ED where I work we often will discharge somebody who is intending to leave AMA after discussing risks/benefits, unless the medical advice they're going against is that we *know* there is something dangerous going on and recommend they stay for treatment

However, all of the evidence we have says it is the most likely thing to help with the problem that we absolutely know we have on formulary. Doesn't excuse these docs ignoring OP's documented severe allergy though
