What happened after the parade shouldn’t be allowed to overshadow what came before it.
Sunday and Monday were unbelievable — outpourings of joy, pride and togetherness from Reds across the land. The stuff we’ve dreamed of.
What followed could’ve been a whole lot worse. Thankfully, it wasn’t — and, as ever, our people pulled together.
We should reclaim those days, and those moments. I’m grateful my son and his mates are OK — they were too close for comfort, and he knows three of the injured. 🙏🏼
Here’s Alisson in a peak moment of joy. That — and sharing it all with the people that matter — is what I’ll be holding onto.

Today we've launched a new requirement that all applicants must demonstrate how their research will address existing inequalities in health and social care as a condition of funding. Applicants will now be required to show how inclusion is being built into all stages of the research lifecycle. https://t.co/765hxygjRD
High staff turnover is associated with higher patient mortality. I’ve said it before & will say it again. If you don’t care for the carers they cannot care for their patients. #NHS https://t.co/2xECShQ34A
@medicalmodelbri@rcgp@Parody_RCGP@DAUK_GP@DrNeenaJha@doctor_oxford@doctor_katie ARRS will not be cut with the current NHS England board in place
They think it’s working despite the 31000 staff adding just 40m appts for £1.4bn
Compared to 27000 GPs doing 160m appts
Cost-benefit not being done at the highest levels & they actually don’t know how it works
Why do GPs choose to work 'at the Deep End' – in areas of socioeconomic deprivation? Research shows it can be clinically stimulating and rewarding, as well as challenging.
