Just had a lovely swim, exercise time, in my pool at 27%, followed by a warm wash, I mean could you have a better start to the day, if you tried? I am constantly reminded of the importance of my freedom, after so long without it, (read my book), and this morning"s swim is why!
@johnredwood but their children, many of whom cant afford to buy a home, rely on their parents passing the family home down to them. For too many, that is the only way they will ever own a home.
@johnredwood he needs to force the private owners to do what needs to be done, like water companies not chucking sewerage into rivers and seas, and repairing pipes etc, and or modernising the railways, instead of handing money to shareholders.
Last night I slept like a baby, in comparison to the last few nights, lovely. It had cooled off so much.I went to sleep at about 11pm, and woke just twice to use the loo, but went straight back to sleep. Temp dropped to 25% indoors.
Did a bit of painting, made a stupid mistake, picked up acrylic white instead of oil white! Next week I am replacing a lot of tubes, that are damaged, gone hard, leaking, expensive, but I do it every couple of years. The hot weather, did effect some paints for the worse.
ever noticed when they advertise those processed fatty foods etc, and sweets, those advertising it are overweight? So beware, it will rot your teeth, and make you fat folks!!
Yup, build council houses, yup badly needed Mr Burnham, but, only offer those new homes to people stuck on the waiting lists, starting with those waiting the longest. everyone in temp homes, bed and breakfast, in tents ! First. house them.
I dont like the evil comments, made by nasty half wits about Ann Widdecombe"s death, but arresting them and wasting public money just because they are idiots, would annoy Ann too, who in her lifetime made numerous comments herself about free speech. And ensuring we keep it.
🚨 Absolute SCUMBAG:
Lee Symonds, 42 from Skipton, just got 12 years for a vile road rage attack on a defenceless 80+ year old man.
This coward tried to ram him off the road, beat him senseless like a punchbag, then slammed his car door into the old boy's face and body FIVE TIMES while he was on the ground. Victim ended up with 20 fractures and two life-saving brain ops.
Thought he was going to die. All because the pensioner pulled out of a junction "too slowly."
Pure evil. No remorse.
Judge called the "apology" worthless. Good riddance.
Lock these animals up and throw away the key. Share if you've had enough of this trash on our roads.
I fell asleep this afternoon, but I was tired. It has been cooler today. I havnt done much though. However we did shop, and I am having late breakfast, and Saturday TV tomorrow like normal. Nice!
call a shoe a box an activity box, and fill one with crayons,a fancy rubber, safety scissors and some stickers, coloured pens, a small paint box, brushes,it is a fab gift. Try putting a small selection of paperbacks in a shoe box for an avid reader as a gift.Decorate the box too.
use those plastic bags, with zipper tops you can shut, that they put new clothes in,in shops to store anything you need , wet trunks fit in after a swim, or even your snacks for the beach, and shoe boxes make perfect containers for parcels, and or filling with gifts for a child.
before hanging up wet laundry on the line, shake it firmly, you wont need to iron it! (great for sheets) use a twin tub , I do, reduces water use , energy use, and makes you get up and do the work!
Broadmoor Inside truths of the past. Female patients who self harmed were cleaned up and stitched without pain relief as a punishment for doing it. Female patients who refused to eat, were locked in solitary until they did.
Now all I need is a few good things on TV, and, to get on with my painting a bit as well. Right now, recovering after lunch, nice mango curry thing, and one of my low lactose lollies.Full belly!
