Clock it. I’ve been a Timothée fan since 2017 and people grumbled that he was so “pretentious and artsy.” He’s always been an avid sports fan but they were so blinded by their projections. He cut his hair for a role and they’re still crying about how they miss him “pre-lobotomy.”
It’s incredibly easy to wish Tom Holland a happy birthday without mentioning Timothee’s name. You are obsessed with Chalamet but pretend he’s a non factor.
@aliatreiides I noticed that as well! It’s so odd because she’s a powerhouse and some of his fans treat her as a prize. They see Timmy as a direct threat to their relationship. It’s very odd considering that they’re all warm with each other.
@aliatreiides I agree for sure! It’s such a beloved IP that my neighbor could play that role and it would still be successful haha. He hasn’t reached success outside of those ips, which is fine, but I have no clue how his stans feel comfortable taunting other actors.
@aliatreiides Same! Have shame is exactly it. I have no clue why they even go there. It’s embarrassing and they’re not even remotely on the same playing field. Haha
@aliatreiides Absolutely! I was trying to keep it cute with him but they keep dragging TC and constantly comparing them. I can guarantee the success of the film will not be because of his performance.
@LoenaHG25 I agree. People are bored and want to stir the pot. It’s a bit hypocritical though to tell me to ignore these posts when you’re going back and forth with me about my initial response. Shouldn’t you be able to ignore mine as well? You quoted it so you clearly wanted me to engage.
“Everything Chalamet thinks he’s is rn.”
The same Chalamet who has 4 Oscar noms and is 10 yrs younger than Robert? They’re both amazing actors with different career paths. I’m not sure why people have this weird fantasy that Timothée sits around bitter and envious of his peers.
@lezzlemynezzle@Persph0ne11 Exactly. I completely agree with both of you. They automatically switch their opinions when the men start playing more “traditional masculine” roles. It’s like they have to earn their stripes before they start recognizing their brilliance.
