@debra_hamel Hello Debra Hamel - not a regular tweeter and definitely not an XWoman... however, wanted to say a big 'thank you' for Arginusae - researching for a theatre project - and your book has been invaluable in painting the picture - loads of queries, of course.
@greg_jenner @mincemeatlive Sorry to be a killjoy but I thought it was terrible... in fact, the whole awards ceremony was particularly dreary and I turned off towards the end - which is a shame because I know how much these awards can mean to those that receive them.
@PhilipsCare_UK Hello - searched and searched your website for customer care telephone number but just keep getting referred back to faqs which don’t address my query - help?
@afneil Andrew Neil - have you any notion of how the French regard and treat asylum seekers or, for that matter, economic migrants. Contrary to right-wing clap-trap it is not the case that asylum seekers etc are legally obliged to settle in the first ‘safe’ country they reach.
MPs should be up in arms about the whip being withdrawn from Julian Lewis because he was elected as Chair of the ISC. When I was on the cmttee it wasn’t party political and there was no pressure from No 10 to vote for a particular candidate.#Disgraceful

@campbellclaret Crazy, isn’t it - this is what he’s wanted all his life and now he’s got it - by fouler means than by fairer - he’s making a complete hash of it. Be careful of what you wish for comes to mind
