I remember seeing someone post last year that you should call your mom, and go visit her more often because she won’t be around that long.
It was a sweet post.
It was someone else’s sadness, though.
It was a great reminder to really appreciate the limited time we have with our moms - but it wasn’t me.
I called my mom almost every day, so I couldn’t truly feel the limited time I had left with her. The post last year didn’t capture me like maybe it should have.
Well, my mom passed away less than three weeks ago, suddenly, and I can’t tell you how captured I am now.
If your mom is alive, here’s your reminder to call her, go see her, spend time with her, love on her.
Your time with her is very limited.
Don’t just think it’s an issue for someone else.
It’s you faster than you think.
@We_Are_Toasted@WSJopinion No indication in that chart that the federal employment is not bloated or that it is more efficient. It has been and continues to be bloated.
It’s clear the government workforce has been bloated and needs to shrink, and the Trump Administration has cut it by nearly 12%. https://t.co/vDlfMH86MX via @WSJopinion
