In my first year as a state representative, I have attended far too many memorials for peace officers slain in the line of duty.

There is a direct correlation between the disrespect shown by *elected officials* and the increase in assaults against our dedicated law enforcement officers.

The culture of service on display at these memorials stands in stark contrast the culture of detestable grievance on display at the Minnesota legislature, from metro prosecutors, and from a mainstream media that allies itself with radicals at the expense of public safety.
