@Keyes The teenagers of Dublin 8 have to commute for over an hour each way to be able to access a secondary school (mixed and non denominational). Seems incredibly unfair. And yet there is little or no political motivation to give us a school closer.

@LCKIreland I am seeing teens and young adults with devastating LC symptoms. They have no public services available. And schools and health care workers often attributing psychiatric reason for their symptoms. It’s not psychiatric it’s brain inflammation from c19 damage that is triggering

We're been shouting for a long time for the #Irish government to properly acknowledge #LongCovid patients & for them to provide services for children(there are none). I brought my son to London in July at a cost of 3k. I'm getting so tired of fighting for my kids to no effect 1/2

I have offered to the Hse to re do their outdated plan and develop training programme for gp’s. Response is always they are doing everything right, they are agile and flexible. Will try again!

There are zero dedicated services for #LongCovid in #Ireland for children.
We've 2 consultants,both private who are knowledgeable on the issue & can see children. So what we now have is two tiered system. If you've the money you MIGHT get some care. If you dont,youre on your own!
